Awesome ice cream just don’t ask for a taste
I’m not a huge fan of ice cream but I can’t refuse to get a few scoops when we go here. I don’t really want to write about the little incident that happened a couple days ago cause it would be full of words like cunt, shit, asshole, and fuck. You get the idea. I’ll definitely have a chat with the owner, especially that it’s her daughter that was rather unpleasant. I have to be clear that this hasn’t happened before. Maybe she just had a bad day, but still. Please do go here the ice cream is very good.
My pet peeve, if it comes to food, is the dessert. I always have to eat something sweet after a meal but now I started to break this habit because my expectation skyrocketed in the past year. I can’t specifically explain what makes a dessert perfect for me. I ate a few memorable masterpieces recently but it is rare. I loved the chocolate peanut butter mochi with white miso caramel in San Francisco at Liholiho or the chocolate rolls Yuzu’s grandma makes just to name a few.
But my ultimate love is ice cream. It’s hard to find something new, fresh, creamy and a taste you want to fill a bathtub with and lick yourself out of it. I can’t say that I have one place to name my favorite but we found this one and I really love the ice cream. It’s flavorful, the portions are good and you can get half portions too. You get the flavors you read on the tiny signs and they have a wide selection. Gee, they have at least 5 different kinds of chocolate to eat.
My only problem is the attitude. How do you choose the ultimate combo? You taste what you are curious about. Today Yuzu wanted to try a few unique flavors and one of the ladies behind the counter contemptuously said that giving more than two tasting is a bit too much to ask. When Yuzu thanked her for the nice treatment, she resentfully asked what other ice cream place lets you taste… Well, all of them.
