Expat friendly. They even have high chairs for baby expats
I don’t claim to have tried all the places that serve wings in town but out of the ones I have tried, (and there have been many), Bestia serves the best ones. Sticky BBQ sauce celery shavings, crispy skin, and blue cheese dressing if you ask for it. The steaks are great as well. So are the cocktails. Actually, everything has been very good that we’ve had here. The food is American style, from Cajun chicken to truffle mac and cheese to baked sweet potatoes to caesar salad. Centrally located, right by the Basilica. There really isn’t much to dislike besides the occasionally slow service.
Every (good) bbq place has a sweet spot in my heart. That’s how I can describe my ideal bbq restaurant: homemade-style food, eating with hands, dripping sauce on your face/hands/chin/elbow, satisfied murmuring and portions enough to make you silent and a bit high after stuffing everything in my face.
I guess I just said everything about this place.
